Booklet description Not much is known about either Reno or Rude's role in the upcoming film but they're seen in some official screenshots. A few theories say that Cloud and company fight alongside Reno and Rude, and the screenshots would hint towards that, but nothing can be clarified from the images alone. In some of them Cloud is seen talking to Reno and Rude, as well as Tifa and Vincent. However, these two's role is still a mystery.

Final Fantasy VII

A little bit about the game Reno is in as well as the coming movie Final Fantasy: Advent Children.

Final Fantasy VII A giant energy manufacturing company known as Shinra Inc. is harvesting the sheer life energy of the Planet as a simple fossil fuel. Processed and made into products known as Mako and Materia, these materials can work miracles, granting the wisdom of the Ancients to the user. However, this substance, like all other fuels, is finite in supply, and the Planet's lifeforce is being malevolently drained by the constant explotation of Mako by Shinra.

However, the real battle lies not with a corporation, but a force much more competent from the distant past. A long-thought dead warrior bent on becoming more and more powerful, coupled with the Planet's drained energy, threatens the very existence of everything sacred. Only Cloud and the small rebel group have the power to stop this, FFVII wasn't intended to focus on love but the relationship of Tifa, Cloud and Aeris has much been debated, personally I prefer Tifa and Cloud...let's just see in the sequel alright?

Advent Children The long-awaited Final Fantasy VII sequel which is a 70 to 80 min straight to DVD film is being developed in Japan. It will feature a total of 20 characters, both old and new. It is expected to be released in Japan in Summer, 2004, with a US release to follow shortly after. But we europeans have to wait some more time *snf snf* ¬_¬;;

The story takes place two years after the end of Final Fantasy VII. The planet has become a peaceful place, industry and cities seem to be in ruins. However most of the surviving people have been affected by some kind of syndrome. Cloud has been living alone, likely having lost those who were his friends and companions in FFVII. He feels some guilt as to what he had done in attempting to save the world. Was it the right thing to do? Was it all worth it. He feels alone in the world as it is now.

Before Crisis Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII is a Japanese action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix in 2004. It was the first original (i.e. not an enhanced remake) game to be produced by Square Enix for mobile phones, and was released on NTT DoCoMo's FOMA 900i line of phones on a monthly subscription basis.

Before Crisis's story begins immediately following the war between the Shin-Ra Electric Power Company and the Wutai tribe, a conflict described in passing in Final Fantasy VII. With the Wutai crushed, Shin-Ra finds itself the dominant economic, military, and political power in the world. But there are those who remain dedicated to the destruction of Shin-Ra, chief among them the newly emerged insurgent movement known as AVALANCHE. Before Crisis concerns the earliest conflicts between Shin-Ra, represented by the Turks, and AVALANCHE. In contrast to Final Fantasy VII, which was told from the point of view of AVALANCHE, Before Crisis centers on the Turks. AVALANCHE is generally portrayed as the enemy.

The game unfolds through a series of "missions." Because of the subscription-based nature of the game, more missions are added on a fairly regular basis, each developing the story more fully.
