Her Personality
On first impressions Yuffie is liable to steal your materia, lol! not good plus she speaks and acts very agressive.
She may be arrogant and annoying but there is more to this young, brash brat of a teenager...trust me! Yuffie cares most deeply about her hometown of Wutai and her proud attitude has made her determined to return it to it's former glory. At present, Wutai is just a tourist town, and has been since they lost in a war to Junon years ago. Yuffie doesn't want that and wishes to restore the towns honour and grace and believes that if she can get ahold of the Materia Cloud and the rest of the team has, she will be able to help Wutai.
This is somewhat noble of her. When she joined the team, she had no idea just what it was going to get her into. It's apparent she understands things more when she returns the Materia she stole and rejoins the party, even if she still intends to get their Materia in the end.
Another side of Yuffie is reveals when Aerith is murdered she is clearly devastated and upset and this makes her want to stop Sephiroth. Despite this She's still greedy and obsessed with Materia (which is a cute side I think of her personality), but the passion she has to restore Wutai also now helps her fight with AVALANCHE.
Yuffie's character development and dialogue is quite limited due to her being an optional character. Hopefully her role in Advent Children will help establish and develop her character, one thing though is she must be more mature now.
Why Yuffie?
Yuffie is a cute character and there are several reasons why she is on my favourite list of characters one thing she's is the only one of the girls with the guts to kiss Cloud on the Date. Tifa and Aeris aren't as bold as Yuffie and I respect her for her guts ^_^~ and when Aeris dies, Yuffie starts crying and hugs Cloud, which is really sweet she shows that despite being a major brat she still has a heart and is childlike/vunerable when dealing with adult issues.>>Back to top
